Vertel Van My Guest House offers comfortable accommodation situated in Kathu, the iron ore capital of the Northern Cape Province.

We are centrally located from the Kathu mall as well as Sishen mine.

We have 9 single and 2 double self-catering rooms available, each equipped with a 107cm bed, tv with hotel packages, toiletries, wardrobe, bar fridge, coffee and tea, airconditioning and no smoking.

We also have 2 family self-cateriing units available, equipped with 3 x 107cm beds, tv with hotel packages, toiletries, wardrobes, bar fridges, coffee, tea and biscuits, airconditioning and no smoking.

The Camel Thorn Tree Acacia erioloba forest is one of only two in the world, with the other being between Mariental and Rehoboth in Namibia. Kathu has a beautiful golf course and a well-established sporting complex with a swimming pool and tennis courts.
